Key Details About Vighneshwar Temple, Ozar:
Significance: It is the 7th temple visited on the Ashtavinayak pilgrimage tour. The deity is believed to have defeated the demon Vighnasur here.
Location: Situated in Ozar (Ozar/Ojhar), Junnar Taluka, Pune District, Maharashtra.
History: The present temple structure was built/renovated during the Peshwa era, notably by Chimaji Appa, and later restored in 1967.
Features: The temple features a golden dome (pinnacle), a spacious courtyard, and a prominent Deepmala. The idol is east-facing and accompanied by his consorts, Riddhi and Siddhi.
Timing & Access: The temple is open daily from approximately 5 AM to 10:30 PM.
