History of the Temple

Shri Chintaman Ganesh Temple is one of the most revered and ancient temples dedicated to Lord Ganesha in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The word ‘Chintaman’ means the remover of worries, and the deity here is believed to relieve devotees of their troubles and grant peace and prosperity.
