History of the Temple
Maa Baglamukhi is one of the ten Mahavidyas of Goddess Durga. She is known as the goddess of power, victory, and protection. The most famous Maa Baglamukhi Temple is located in Datia, Madhya Pradesh, also known as Pitambara Peeth. According to legends, the temple was established by the great saint and scholar Adi Shankaracharya.
It is believed that worshipping Maa Baglamukhi helps devotees gain victory over enemies, overcome legal disputes, and remove obstacles from life.
