History of the Temple

– Mangala Gauri Temple in Gaya, Bihar is one of the 18 Maha Shakti Peethas.

– Believed to be the site where the breast of Goddess Sati fell.

– The temple structure dates back to the 15th century.

– Located atop Mangalagauri Hill with additional shrines for Shiva, Kali, and Mahishasura Mardini.
