Chilkur Balaji Temple, also known as the “Visa Balaji Temple,” is one of the oldest temples in Hyderabad, located near Gandipet Lake. The temple is believed to be more than 500 years old and is dedicated to Lord Balaji (Vishnu). It gained national fame for the unique belief that devotees who pray here and perform 11 pradakshinas have their wishes fulfilled—especially related to overseas travel. The temple maintains a tradition of not accepting donations and has no special queues, making it a symbol of equality and devotion.
