    • By Air: Flight from Delhi to Jamnagar Airport. From Jamnagar, travel to Dwarka by road (~145 km), then take a ferry from Okha Port to Bet Dwarka Island.
    • By Train: Direct trains from Delhi to Dwarka Railway Station. From Dwarka, reach Okha Port (~30 km) and take a ferry.
    • By Road: Delhi to Dwarka (~1300 km) via NH routes; then Okha Port ferry service to Bet Dwarka.

    From Ahmedabad to Bet Dwarka:

    • By Air: Flight from Ahmedabad to Jamnagar. From Jamnagar, continue by road to Dwarka and then to Okha for ferry.
    • By Train: Direct trains available from Ahmedabad to Dwarka.
    • By Road: Ahmedabad to Dwarka (~440 km); after reaching Dwarka proceed to Okha Port and take a ferry.

    History of the Temple

    Bet Dwarka, also known as Shankhodhar Island, is believed to be the original residence of Lord Krishna during his reign in Dwarka. It is said that Sudama, Krishna’s childhood friend, visited Him here and offered beaten rice, which is commemorated at the temple even today.
    The main temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and is reputed to be built over the site of Krishna’s ancient palace. Archaeological findings from the surrounding sea have revealed remnants believed to date back to the Krishna era, adding to its historical and spiritual significance.
    The present structure is attributed to the Vallabhacharya Sampradaya and is an important pilgrimage site as part of the Char Dham Yatra (Dwarka).
