  • By Air: Direct flights available from Delhi (DEL) to Kempegowda International Airport (BLR). From airport, the temple is approx. 35–40 km; taxis, buses, and metro connections available.
  • By Train: Direct trains from New Delhi Railway Station to Bengaluru City Junction or Yesvantpur Junctione.
  • By Road: Distance ≈ 2100 km. Not commonly preferred, but possible via NH44.

History of the Temple

ISKCON Sri Radha Krishna Temple in Bengaluru is one of the largest ISKCON temples in the world. It was inaugurated in 1997 by the ISKCON founder’s disciples under the guidance of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. The temple was created with a mission to promote spiritual education, Vedic culture, and devotional service.

The architecture is a blend of traditional Dravidian and modern styles, featuring gold-plated dhwaja-stambha and kalashas. The temple complex includes cultural halls, Vedic theatres, Govinda’s restaurant, and educational centers. The deities of Sri Sri Radha Krishnachandra are the primary deities, along with sub-deities like Sri Sri Nitai Gauranga, Sri Sri Prahlada Narasimha, and Sri Srinivasa Govinda.

The temple is a major spiritual hub attracting millions annually and plays a key role in ISKCON’s global mission of spreading Krishna consciousness.
